The beauty of Hydropave is that it is extremely versatile while being highly permeable. It has a classic brick or block like shape that sits perfectly next to a contemporary or period property and is 100% recyclable, so it’s kinder to the environment too.

If you’re looking for a super hard wearing and smooth finish that functions as a Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) paving solution to maximise drainage flow rates, then Hydropave is for you. It is also perfect for spaces that support regular vehicle and foot traffic.
How is a Hydropave driveway laid?
Our team at Apple Driveways will create a solid and level foundation which is the first step to achieving a Hydropave driveway; the area needs to have good drainage too. The ground will be compacted to ensure it is even, before a permeable bedding aggregate is laid and also lightly compacted. A block or brick driveway needs a border, after which the Hydropave blocks or bricks will be laid. Permeable paving jointing aggregate will be brushed between the joints to fill any voids and there you have it – your Hydropave driveway is complete!
